If this is from the new Dead Space 3, I am going to shit bricks because this is awesome. From what I recall (thanks to my awesome best friend, Alli) I read on her Dead Space posts that is has been declared there will be a Dead Space 3. For all things I could be wrong, but I’ve been staring at this for a long time and I can make out his suit fairly well, seeing as I’ve been playing the game for some time now, seeing a lot of images of Isaac and so on; and those look like Necromorphs, and I’ve gotten used to the Necromorph base and all. And as I remember: Dead Space 3 is on a planet riddled with snow, ice, etc. And there’s snow, frost, ice, etc. in the background of this. I could be wrong, but then again I can be right! It seems like so <3 I hope so!
That, is one of those rather intriguing, nice artwork, horrible animation, Animated Webcomics. Everyone is all “OH LOOK DEAD SPACE 3 TRAILER!” Assholes, no. Welcome to Alli’s Dead Space 3 Rant.
YES, Dead Space 3 has a lot of speculation, and YES it is OBVIOUSLY a go. Why would a massive company NOT make another game in a best selling franchise? (Unless your EPIC Games where you ended the lovely Gears Trilogy, but that’s besides the point) Dead Space 2 was left utterly open ended at the very end (after credits and such, YES I watched the credits of Dead Space. I love it that much) and it is very apparent that they would make another game. In fact some speculation points towards MANY new games, ON MANY VARIOUS PLANETS. Why? Because according to a little bird, Visceral wants to expand the Dead Space Universe (Which I fully support).
Now further look into our lovely webcomic here. First off: I hate animated webcomics. Something about they way they move pisses me off and agitates me. Second: The guy you see near the beginning and all and looking at the Marker, OBVIOUSLY starting a convergence event, is not Isaac, but another. Sergeant John Carver. According to a few leaks on the Dead Space team, the new Dead Space 3 is going to have Co-op (OH KATE <3333) and it is very likely that Sargy here will be Isaac’s PIC (Partner- In- Crime)
Anyway, there’s my rant. This isn’t even a full “OH MY DEAD SPACE 3” quotation from EA Games, let alone a real standing for “Hey look, we did it” no. It is more than likely a teaser, a way to make a publicity rave.
